QotD: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow...
Every new "Today" seems more anxious than ever. Do you find more solace in "Yesterday" or "Tomorrow"? Why?

Do many people find solace in yesterday? The time that's passed where nothing can be changed and the results of which just have to be dealt with in the best manner possible? Really?
And then solace in the unpredictablity of tomorrow? How can you even guess what'll happen in the next HOUR, let alone the next 24 hours? (If you can, I'd like some lottery numbers from you.)
For me, I'm happy in today. Things come through the day that I have slightly prepared for, every new event makes me stronger, more loving, more capable to face what comes tomorrow and helps me resolve what happened yesterday.
Today's great, even with it's sense of anxiety because it also has this sense of immediacy. It's like tomorrow, with it's wealth of possibility, but today where you can actually do something about it.

I USED to pretend about the future and lived in my dreams for it. Wasted a lot of time that way, in a sense, but it fwas un. Knowing now that it's probably going to be crap, too, is starkly scary -- but it does open the door to change.
The past? No point to that. It's over.
It's always nice to think about the future; I do and I put on my rose-coloured glasses for it too! But living in the future just makes you miss everything that's going on right now.
And I'm starting to sound like a Hallmark card.
But living in the future just makes you miss everything that's going on right now. true, true, true.....
